Morning Prayer and Devotion
And Jesus said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” Mark 1:17
We are to do for others as Jesus has done for us. We are to show mercy, extend a helping hand, and forgive as we have been forgiven. Jesus modeled all these things. Not only did he save, but he demonstrated how a saved person should live. Pray that we might demonstrate the Christian life as Jesus did for us.

Afternoon Prayer and Devotion
43“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Matthew 5:43-44
It is easy to talk about being a Christian, but the true test comes in the application. We have been mandated to love both friend and foe, and those who live by this precept have learned that love at this magnitude can only be achieved through Christ Jesus. Pray that God’s love in us spills out toward all those we come in contact with.

Evening Prayer and Devotion
10But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he said to the paralytic— 11“I say to you, rise, pick up your bed, and go home.” Mark 2:10-11
Salvation is more than lip service to God. There should be some demonstration of a renewed and restored life. Pray that God’s life changing power runs unfettered throughout our community.
